I am the Mom of three “almost” adult daughters, two dogs, a wife of 23 years and a cancer warrior. I try to find humor in the craziness of everyday life.
I love my family. But I am pretty sure we will be in therapy for the rest of our lives. Each morning I wake up and try to do my best.
I hope that my hot mess of a life will make you laugh and maybe even feel better about your own life. It’s not a picture-perfect Facebook post but I wouldn’t change it.
If you are easily offended, can’t bear curse words and sometimes bad grammar, this may not be the blog for you. No hard feelings. My stories are honest, sarcastic and sometimes ugly. I hope to have the courage to share my reflections on parenthood, relationships and health.
I promise to try and keep it real…
“To be nobody-but-yourself — in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else — means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.” E. E.Cummings
